Bhimavaram: Raghurama Krishnam Raju, the Member of Parliament from Narsapuram and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) candidate, has sharply criticized Jaganmohan Reddy’s election manifesto, labeling it as ‘old wine in an old bottle’. In a recent media interaction, Krishnam Raju expressed his dissatisfaction with Reddy’s promises, arguing that they lack innovation and substance.

Particularly, Krishnam Raju scrutinized Reddy’s proposal to increase old age pensions by 2028, questioning the rationale behind delaying such a crucial welfare measure. He also condemned the renaming of Ambedkar’s foreign education scheme to Jagananna’s foreign education scheme, considering it a disrespect to the legacy of the esteemed leader.

Highlighting Chandrababu Naidu’s track record of fulfilling promises, Krishnam Raju contrasted the approaches of the two leaders. He underscored Naidu’s plans for schemes like Amma Odi and Amma Ki Vandanam, which he believes would offer more substantial support to students and their families compared to Reddy’s proposals.

Krishnam Raju firmly advocated for supporting the TDP and its alliance partners in the upcoming elections, asserting that Chandrababu Naidu is the leader best equipped to drive development and welfare initiatives in Andhra Pradesh.
