In Andhra Pradesh’s Amaravati region, the Weather department has announced rain alerts for the next two days, the 19th of July, Tuesday, and the 20th of July, Wednesday.

On the 18th of July evening, the Amaravati Meteorological Department alerted light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms and lightning in many places.

Furthermore, the East Godavari and the West Godavari regions of Andhra Pradesh would also receive rainfall, due to which the people of the area, have been alerted.  The effect of low pressure is significantly less in South Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema areas. Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam, and Potti Sriramulu Nellore districts will receive light showers. The Amaravati met office has announced that there will be light rains in Chittoor, YSR Kadapa, Anantapur, and Kurnool districts. No warning has been issued for these areas.

Moreover, in the Telugu State of Telangana, the Indian Meteorological Department issued an orange alert, as moderate to heavy rainfall is predicted in 9 districts of Telangana.  According to sources,  an orange alert has been issued in Adilabad, Komaram Bhim Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalapalli, Mulugu, and Bhadradri Kothagudem districts. The yellow alert has been issued on Monday for Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Siricilla, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal Rural, Warangal Urban, Janagama, and Yadadri Bhuvanagiri districts.
