The Road Transportation Corporation is likely to resume state run bus services between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, soon.

The officials of the Andhra Pradesh State RTC (APSRTC) and the Telangana State RTC, on the 18th of June, conducted a meeting in Vijayawada. The officials discussed in detail to resume the bus operations between the two Telugu states.

A delegation of officials from TSRTC arrived in Vijayawada and held discussions.

The meeting was held at the RTC Bhavan at the Pandit Nehru Bus station in Andhra Pradesh. The APSRTC has put forth its proposals to operate the buses from various destinations of AP to Telangana.

The TSRTC officials said they would discuss with the transport department and will invite the APSRTC officials very soon to Hyderabad for the further discussions.

APSRTC Executive Director (Operations) K Brahmananda Reddy said the two sides will reach an agreement very soon on resuming bus operations between the two states.

However, an official date regarding the resumption is yet to be announced.
