In a tragic incident, two people identified as L. Durga Prasad and P. Santosh died in a major road accident.

The incident occurred on the morning of the 23rd of March, Thursday, at Valandapeta near Bheemunipatnam, Andhra Pradesh.  As per sources, the accident happened due to the negligence of the driver, who felt sleepy, hit a divider and collided with a lorry. 

Getting into the details, the two victims, L. Durga Prasad and P. Santosh were residents of Srikakulam. 

The passengers died on spot, following which the police rushed to the spot.  The local police sent the two bodies to the King George Hospital for postmortem.

Moreover, a case has been registered under the relevant sections and a further investigation into the matter is underway.
