Amaravathi: The Meteorological Department has forecasted a welcome respite from the blistering heat in Andhra Pradesh, with anticipated rainfall in various parts of the state. Signs of changing weather patterns have been observed in Yanam, where the lower tripo enclosure is blowing from the southeast or southwest direction.

Over the next three days, North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam are likely to experience light to moderate rain or thundershowers at isolated places. Additionally, gusty winds reaching 30-40 km/h, thunder, lightning, and hailstorms are expected in some areas.

Meanwhile, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh may witness hot and humid conditions on Sunday, followed by dry weather on Monday and Tuesday, with a chance of hailstorms at isolated places. In Rayalaseema, residents can expect dry weather with a possibility of hailstorms at one or two locations.
