Vijayawada: Taking forward Jana Sena, BJP seat sharing process, party chief Pawan Kalyan on Sunday met Jal Shakti minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. The meeting held at Novotel hotel in the city lasted for around 90 minutes.

Pawan went to Novotel hotel directly from Vijayawada international airport and met Shekhawat. 

BJP Vice president Baijayant Panda also present at the meeting. Sources said that the leaders discussed key issues related to the seat sharing process.

While BJP is willing to contest from Anakapalli MP seat, Jana Sena is requesting it to leave it to them. BJP top leadership categorically indicated that leaders with former ties with TDP will not get seats this time.

Pawan Kalyan refused to comment on the details of the meeting. He said that this is a formal meeting. Sources at Jana Sena said that AP BJP chief D Purandeswari and other key leaders will sit together on Monday and finalize candidates.
