Pawan Kalyan, the President of the JanaSena Party, met tomato farmers at the Madanapalle market yard in Andhra Pradesh (AP.)

Initially, officials of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) denied Pawan Kalyan permission to visit the market yard.  However, on the night of the 4th of December, the authorities of the Market Committee allowed Kalyan for the visit.

The Secretary of the Market Committee wrote a letter to G. Ramdas Chowdary, a local party leader.  In the letter, the Secretary of the Committee mentioned Pawan Kalyan can visit the Madanapalle market yard after 11:30 A.M., on the 5th of December.

The authorities also directed the owners of the mandi to complete the tomato auction by 11:30 A.M., so that Mr. Kalyan could visit.

The main purpose of Mr. Kalyan’s visit is to hold a meeting with the tomato farmers and weavers at the Madanapalle market to find out about their issues and try to resolve them.

​_Pawan Kalyan, on the 4th of December, left for Madanapalle and conducted a meeting with workers and leaders of the JanaSena Party.
