Pawan Kalyan, the President of the JanaSena Party, on the 19th of February, praised Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.)

Mr. Kalyan praised and welcomed the decision of Jagan Mohan Reddy to move the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for investigating the Sugali Preethi rape and murder case.

On the evening of the 18th of February, Jagan Mohan Reddy met the family of Sugali Preethi, a rape victim.  On the 18th of February, 2017, Sugali Preethi, a school student, was raped and murdered at the Cattamanchi Ramalinga Reddy Residential High School, Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh (A.P.)  Jagan Mohan Reddy met the victim’s family and assured them justice would be delivered. The meeting was held when Jagan Mohan Reddy was on a visit to Kurnool for the launch of the third phase of the YSR Kanti Velugu programme for eye checkups. 

Residents of Kurnool expressed anger and demanded strict punishment for the culprits who raped and killed the 15 year old student

After yesterday’s meeting, the relatives and parents of Sugali Preethi are hopeful the Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy led State Government would do justice to their daughter.

The YSRCP Government is soon going to hand over the case to the CBI and Jagan Mohan Reddy would review the progress personally.

Pawan Kalyan, who always opposes the decisions taken by the YSRCP Government and Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, welcomed this decision and hopes for justice.
