In Andhra Pradesh, online booking services of 175 temples have been suspended across the State.

On the 30th of May, Monday, the temple managements like Annavram, Dwaraka Tirumala, Draksharama Sri Bheemeswara Swamy and other 6A temples in the state were unable to use online ticket services amid the failure of the Temple Management System (TMS.)

All the 175 temples across Andhra Pradesh started to book tickets using manual mode, due to which devotees are suffering delays in darshan with hours of waiting time.

Besides darshan, the devotees from various places faced trouble in terms of accommodation as well, confirmed the media sources.

It is to be noted that the Temple management system (TMS) was launched by the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) to help for the effective monitoring of temples.  The site also helped to eliminate all kinds of malpractices such as selling fake darshan tickets and embezzlement of funds.

Furthermore, it was reported that the online service has been suspended as salaries are not paid to the server management.

The TMS is likely to restore soon so that the temples across the State could once again resume their online booking services for devotees.
