Mr. Nara Lokesh, the National General Secretary of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) met with Mr. Abdul Nazeer, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh, on the 15th of July, Saturday.

According to sources, during the meeting held at the Governor Office, Mr. Nara Lokesh  discussed the issue of the availability of stray cannabis in the Telugu State of Andhra Pradesh.  Concerned about the marijuana availability, Mr. Nara Lokesh mentioned about  the prevalence of marijuana in various areas visited during his padayatra (foot march.)

Mr. Nara Lokesh said, “Anywhere in the country Ganja is discovered, all fingers are pointing at AP.  After Jagan became the Chief Minister, AP became the Drugs Capital of the country.”  He further said, “Be it schools or educational institutions, Ganja is available freely.”

Taking a dig at Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy,  the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Nara Lokesh said under the leadership of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) ganja supply has become easy, as the CM himself is making the drugs supply easy.

Nara Lokesh also praised Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and said,  “When Chandrababu Naidu garu was the CM, AP used to be Jobs’ capital. Now it is the total reverse.”

Mr. Nara Lokesh also provided the Governor with a CD and a pen drive containing details about the marijuana issues in the State, during encounters and discussion with the people on ground level.

This was the first meeting of Mr. Nara Lokesh with the Governor of Andhra Pradesh.  Furthermore, TDP leaders Nakka Ananda Babu, former legislators Mandal Chairman Sharif, and Kollu Ravindra were also accompanied by Mr. Nara Lokesh and were present at the meeting.
