Mangalagiri: Youth leader Nara Lokesh, in a Rachabanda Sabha held in Godavarru of Duggirala Mandal, criticized the governance of Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, alleging political theatrics and failure to deliver justice to the people.

Referring to past incidents like the Kodikatthi incident in 2019 and the recent Gulakarai episode in 2024, Lokesh accused Jagan of evading accountability and causing fear among the populace. He highlighted the plight of Sheena, a Dalit child imprisoned for five years based on Jagan’s directives, and questioned the authenticity of recent alleged attacks on the Chief Minister.

Lokesh lambasted the government’s handling of social welfare schemes, citing delays in pension disbursements and politicization of public welfare issues. He pledged to increase the pension for the elderly to Rs. 4,000 if his party comes to power, emphasizing the importance of efficient governance and timely delivery of benefits.

Asserting the need for accountability and transparency in governance, Lokesh urged the people to reconsider their trust in the current administration and promised proactive engagement to ensure the welfare of all citizens.
