Telugu actor turned politician Mr. Nandamuri Taraka Ratna (39,) passed away while undergoing treatment at Bengaluru hospital.  His funeral is scheduled to take place at his native place Mokila village in Ranga Reddy district of Telangana.

On the 27th of January, Nandamuri Taraka Ratna, Tollywood actor turned politician, participated in the Yuva Galam Padayatra led by Mr. Nara Lokesh, the General Secretary of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP.)  During the yatra, Mr. Nandamuri Taraka Ratna fell ill and was immediately rushed to KC Hospital in Kuppam.  Later, he was shifted to PES Medical College for better treatment. 

According to doctors, Mr. Nandamuri Taraka Ratna suffered a cardiac arrest and was being treated at a private hospital in Bengaluru.  He passed away on the late night of the 18th of February.  Later, on the morning of the 19th of February, Sunday, his mortal remains were brought to his residence in Mokila, Rangareddy district.  His mortal remains will be kept at the film chamber’s office at Filmnagar, Hyderabad on Monday morning.  Fans and visitors could pay their last tribute to the actor turned politician Mr. Nandamuri Taraka Ratna.

Furthermore,  the last rites would be performed at Mahaprasthanam in Hyderabad on Monday at 5:00 P.M.

Meanwhile, several celebrities and political leaders have reached Taraka Ratna’s residence in Mokila to pay homage.   TDP leaders from Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly and Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Mr. N. Chandrababu Naidu along with his wife Bhuvaneshwari, Nandamuri Balakrishna, TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh and Nara Lokesh’s wife Nandamuri Brahamani also reached Hyderabad.
