Vijayawada: Mylavaram legislator and YSRCP leader Vasantha Venkata Krishna Prasad is set to join Telugu Desam Party (TDP) very shortly. Krishna Prasad had decided to travel along with his long time political rival Devineni Umamaheswara Rao in TDP.

Addressing media at the constituency, Krishna Prasad confirmed his joining at Telugu Desam and said that he wished to join Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh to develop the state. He said that Telugu Desam, Jana Sena government is much needed to keep the state on track.

KP said that YSRCP instructed him to scold Naidu and Lokesh personally to confirm the Mylavaram seat. “I never had any personal rivalry with TDP. CM Jagan asked me to scold Naidu for political mileage. I asked Jagan to rethink his decision on Amaravati, but he ignored my request,” Krishna Prasad said.

He announced that he will start working along with the TDP cadre from Tuesday and official joining is scheduled within a couple of days.
