The mortal remains of Mr. Mekapati Goutham Reddy has been shifted to Nellore district, from Hyderabad.
On the 22nd of February, the funeral proceedings of Mr. Mekapati Goutham Reddy would be held. His mortal remains were shifted to Nellore in an army helicopter from Begumpet airport. Before the final rites (on February 23,) his body would be kept at the Nellore Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Camp Office for the people to pay their last respects.
According to sources, the family members of Mr. Mekapati Goutham Reddy would conduct his last rites at the Merits Engineering College in Udayagiri. It is to be noted, Goutham Reddy’s son Mr.Krishnarjuna Reddy has already left for India from the United States and would reach AP soon. After his arrival, the final rites of Goutham Reddy would be held on the 23rd of February, Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the YSRCP Minister Mr. Anil Kumar is overseeing the funeral arrangements at the college. Andhra Pradesh’s political leaders and YSRCP leaders would attend the funeral of Mr. Goutham Reddy today.
The Information Technology Minister of Andhra Pradesh Mr. Mekapati Goutham passed away on the morning of the 21st of February, Monday. The 50 year old Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Atmakur died due to a cardiac arrest.
