Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Information Technology and Urban Development Minister of Telangana, raised his voice against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Member of Parliament (MP) Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.

On the 29th of April, Saturday, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Working President of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS,) extended support for the female wrestlers who have initiated a protest against alleged sexual harassment by the Chief of Wrestling Federation of India.

In a tweet, KTR stated that the wrestlers, who brought glory to the nation during the Olympics, should now receive the support and solidarity they deserve as they fight for justice.

The tweet read, “We celebrated when these Olympic champions brought Glory to our Nation.  Now let’s stand with them and express our solidarity as they fight for justice.  The serious sexual harassment allegations against the chief of wrestling federation should be probed impartially and justice delivered.  My wholehearted support to #WrestlersProtest.”

Notably, Wrestlers are protesting against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, the WFI Chief, alleging him of sexual harassment, at Jantar Mantar, Delhi.

Meanwhile, afrter seven days of protest, the Delhi Police registered a first information report (FIR) against Mr. Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, as per complaint of the female wrestlers.

Furthermore, an investigation into the matter is underway.
