Kesineni Nani, a Member of Parliament (MP) of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) was nominated to be a member of the Indian Council of Medical Research Committee.
On the 9th of December, Om Birla, the Speaker of the Lok Sabha, announced TDP MP Kesineni would hold a crucial post in the Committee.
The Indian Medical Committee would supervise the manufacture of pharmaceuticals, chemicals, regulations and rights in India. It would also review the activities carried out by the Health Ministry of India.
Kesineni Nani is the MP of Vijayawada and a strong member of the TDP.
