K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR,) the Chief Minister of Telangana and Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (AP,) conducted an official meeting on the 28th of June, at Pragati Bhavan, Hyderabad, Telangana.

Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and KCR discussed several issues of both the Telugu states, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The main agenda was to resolve the water sharing issues between both the States, the bifurcation issues and the development issues in the States.

Unlike N. Chandrababu Naidu, the former Chief Minister of AP, Jagan Mohan Reddy shares a friendly relation with KCR and his Government, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS.)

This is seen from their gestures—Jagan attended the inauguration of the Kaleshwaram Irrigation project and KCR attended Jagan’s oath taking ceremony.

Apart from that, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) officially gave the buildings of the Government of AP which were in Telangana, to the TRS.

Jagan and KCR also discussed the elements of the bifurcation of 2014 and matters related to the AP Reorganisation Act, 2014. K.T. Rama Rao, the Working President of the TRS, the Cabinet Ministers of the TRS and senior leaders of the YSRCP were present at the meeting.

Before the meeting started, officials of the Water Resources Department prepared a detailed report by after seeking suggestions from irrigation experts.

The meeting started at 10:00 A.M., at Pragati Bhavan, Hyderabad, Telangana.
