Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana and the National President of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) welcomed former Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Mr. Thota Chandrasekhar in the party.

It is to be noted, Mr. Thota Chandrasekhar joined the BRS in Andhra Pradesh and has been named the President of the BRS in Andhra Pradesh.

Besides Mr. Thota Chandrasekhar, former ministers and political leaders like Mr.  Ravela Kishore Babu and  Mr. Chintala Parthasarathi also joined the BRS, which is all set to spread its wings in Andhra Pradesh.  During the event, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao gave a speech and said, “I wish Thota Chandrasekhar the best of luck in all of his endeavours.  I have total faith.”

It is to be noted, announced as a national party, the BRS would start functioning in all Indian states after Makar Sankranti, the 14th of January.  The BRS is planning to extend their presence in all the states of India, opposing the leadership of Mr. Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India.  Recently the BRS, formerly known as the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS,) inaugurated its headquarters in Delhi. 

The BRS is also planning to contest the 2024 Andhra Pradesh elections and 2024 General elections.
