In Andhra Pradesh’s Kadapa district, a suspicious death case was registered on the 25th of June, Saturday.  

According to sources, a body of a high-ranking official of the Municipal Administration was found on a railway track near Utkuru village near Kadapa and Rayachoti.  The villagers who saw the body alerted the police, who rushed to the spot.  After an initial investigation, the police confirmed the body to be of Puttaparthy town Municipal Commissioner Mr. K. Munikumar.  

Although the Kadapa Police did not recover any suicide notes, they registered a case and suspected it to be a matter of suicide.

The investigation in this matter is underway.
