Mr. Dhiraj Singh Thakur has been appointed as the Chief Justice of the Andhra Pradesh High Court (HC.)

On the 28th of July, Friday, Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur took the oath, during a ceremony, organized on. the court premises.  Justice Dheeraj Singh Thakur, the former Chief Justice of the Bombay Court, was newly appointed as the Chief Justice of the State High Court in Andhra Pradesh.  He reached Krishna District Gannavaram Airport on Thursday, the 27th of July.

On Friday, S. Abdul Nazeer, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh, administered the oath to the new Chief Justice, at the Tummalapalli Kalakshetra, Vijayawada.

Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, High Court Judges, Bar Association representatives, lawyers and representatives of various communities attended the programme.
