Rajahmundry: Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan asked his party workers to be prepared to contest from Rajahmundry rural. He named Kandula Durgesh as party candidate there.

Pawan’s comments sparked a controversy as MLA and senior TDP leader Buchiah Chowdary is expecting a ticket from Rajahmundry rural. Chowdary intensified efforts to impress party chief N Chandra Babu Naidu. 

Pawan in his tour at Rajahmundry on Tuesday conducted a few key meetings. He interacted with leaders of and clearly said that the party will contest from Rajanagaram assembly also.

However, Pawan didn’t name any candidate for Rajanagaram and said that an able candidate will be finalized after consulting TDP leadership. 

Jansena chief asked the party leadership to work collectively with TDP to defeat the YSRCP and make AP free from the ruling of YS Jagan.

Pawan conducted a meeting with leaders of Konaseema. He said that peace and harmony between castes and religions is his dream.

Kalyan asked the leaders of Konaseema to give a strong counter to YSRCP which tried to divide people in the name of caste.
