Vijayawada: AP Chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy participated in Minorities day celebration held at Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium in the city on Saturday. 

 

Jagan Mohan Reddy said that people can visibly witness the difference between his government and earlier governments in terms of development and welfare of minorities. “The then TDP government spent Rs. 2600 crores on welfare of minorities during its five years tenure. But YSRCP government spent a whopping amount of Rs.26,000 crores during the last 52 months and this shows our commitment,” Jagan said.

 

He asked people to understand how the earlier government ignored the welfare of minorities and looted the public money. Jagan also said that welfare, education and political sectors are top priorities of his government and he is committed for the upliftment of poor minorities.
