Jagan government become puppet in the hands of BJP: YS Sharmila

Ichapuram: Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president YS Sharmila continued attacking her brother and AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Sharmila alleged that YS Jagan’s government is remotely controlled by BJP. She said that her father YS Rajasekhar Reddy fought against BJP when he was alive and her brother handed over the party to BJP and acted like a puppet. 

Sharmila on Tuesday launched her state tour at Ichapuram. She visited the ‘Praja Prasthanam’ monument where former CM late YS Rajasekhar Reddy concluded his Pada Yatra. Sharmila said that ideas like YSR Aarogyasri and fees reimbursement came after understanding the core problems faced by the public in Pada Yatra, Sharmila said.

 Sharmila said that the Congress party never criticized YS Rajasekhar Reddy. “People should come out of false propaganda about the Congress party. My father YSR is a Congressman and strived for the party until his last breath. Even Sonia Gandhi conveyed the same to me. YSR’s name in the FIR is truly accidental,” Sharmila said.

She asserted that Rahul Gandhi is committed to fulfill the promise of granting special status to Andhra Pradesh.
