Prime Minister Narendra Modi remembered Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on the 75th anniversary of tricolour hoisting at Port Blair.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter and said, “30th December 1943… a day etched in the memory of every Indian, when the brave Netaji Subhas Bose unfurled the Tricolour at Port Blair. To mark the 75th anniversary of this special day, I had gone to Port Blair and had the honour of hoisting the Tricolour. Sharing some memories.”

On the India 72nd Republic Day, the 26th of January 2021,India would display its military and cultural diversity on Rajpath.

The parade would begin at 9:50 A.M., from Vijay Chowk and move towards the National Stadium.

For the the first time, Rafale fighter jets would take part in the Republic Day flypast.

A total 32 tableaus — 17 from states and union territories, six from the Defence ministry and nine from other Union ministries and paramilitary forces — depicting the nation’s rich cultural heritage, economic progress and defence prowess would down the Rajpath.

Thereafter, PM Modi and other dignitaries would head to the saluting dais at Rajpath to witness the parade.

As per tradition, the national flag would be unfurled followed by the national anthem with a booming 21-gun salute.

The parade would commence with President Ram Nath Kovind taking the salute at 9:50 A.M.
