Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, on the occasion of the 73rd Independence Day of India, the 15th of August, hoisted the national flag.

Jagan Mohan Reddy hoisted the tricolour at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. 

After the flag hoisting,  Jagan addressed the people of Andhra Pradesh and spoke about his Government, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP.) 

CM Jagan wished the people of AP a happy Independence Day and shared what his Government achieved in the last two months.  This is the first time Jagan Mohan Reddy is hoisted the flag as the Chief Minister of the State.

He also spoke about the future goals of the YSRCP Government for the welfare of citizens of Andhra Pradesh.

Gautam Sawang, the Director General of Police (DGP) of Andhra Pradesh, L.V. Subramaniam, the General Secretary of Andhra Pradesh and other Ministers attended the event.
