The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has launched an innovative programme to create awareness about tiger conservation.

Launched as India’s first ever awareness programme, the “Hyderabad On Wheels” is a tiger Photo exhibition.  The unique exhibition is on a state run RTC bus, illustrating the importance of tigers in biodiversity through photography.

Tiger photo exhibition on ‘Hyderabad on Wheels’ bus was inaugurated at KBR Park premises in Hyderabad.  The inauguration event was attended by Mr. Rakesh Mohan Dobriya, the  Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) and other forest reservation officials.

Furthermore, The TSRTC organized this exhibition in collaboration with Indian Photo Festival Organisation and ICBM-School of Business Excellence.   In this exhibition, TSRTC is displaying tiger photos taken by Professor Jitender Govindani, Dean (Academics) of ICBM-School of Business Excellence and wildlife photographer.  In addition, the organization would go to tourist areas, parks and other places in Hyderabad to explain the role of tigers in environmental protection, hence claiming to be “Hyderabad on Wheels.”
