In Hyderabad’s Begum Bazar, a massive blaze broke out at a jewellery store in a three storey building.

The fire incident occurred Wednesday night of the 11th of January, confirmed sources.  Getting into the details, the fire broke out at around 9:30 P.M.,  and quickly spread to engulf the entire building at night. 

Upon receiving the news, fire brigades and police rushed to the spot and started the rescue and extinguishing works.  A jewellery shop and many small shops in the area were burnt in the fire and properties and assets were damaged.  In addition teams of disaster response force were also called to control the situation and the rescue work continued till late midnight on Wednesday.

Since the incident occurred at night, there were not many people, therefore no casualties were reported.

Furthermore, the police registered a case and are trying to find the cause of the massive fire.
