Parchur: Former minister Daggubati Venkateswara Rao expressed happiness for losing at Parchur assembly constituency in the 2019 elections. Venkateswara Rao said that roads at his constituency are in bad shape and he would face problems in meeting people with pathetic roads.

Venkateswara Rao met people at his hometown Karamchedu on Monday and expressed dissatisfaction over the government. Venkateswara contested as MLA from Parchur constituency from YSRCP ticket in 2019 elections and lost.

Venkateswara Rao said that YSRCP placed a proposal of making my son MLC and minister upon a few conditions. We have refused to accept those conditions and returned to Hyderabad, Venkateswara Rao added.

Venkateswara Rao added that he is associated with 294 assembly constituencies in the combined Andhra Pradesh and working as a minister to develop own constituency gave him a lot of happiness and pleasure.Venkateswara Rao added that h is spending quality time with his grandchildren and reminded that his wife Purandeswari joined BJP when it is not in power.
