Family members of Gokaraju Gangaraju, a former Member of Parliament (MP) of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP,) joined the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP.)

On the 10th of December, Venkata Kanaka Ranga Raju Gokaraju, Gokaraju Ramaraju and Gokaraju Venkata Narasimha Raju, the son, brother and grandson of ex BJP MP G. Gangaraju, joined the YSRCP in AP.

Speaking about the reason behind joining the ruling Party of Andhra Pradesh (AP,) the Gakaraju family said they were impressed by the YSRCP welfare schemes and initiatives for the citizens.

Mr. Venkara Kanaka, Mr. Ramaraju and Mr. Narasimha Raju said the schemes launched by Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of AP, promise the State’s development.

The three members of the Gokarajau family wished to join the Party under the leadership of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and contribute to the people’s welfare in Andhra Pradesh.  They joined the YSRCP in the presence of Party President Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and other officials.

YSRCP leaders like Sri Ranganatha Raju, Mudunuri Prasada Raju, G.S. Naidu, Karumuri Venkata Nageswara Rao and Puppala Srinivasarao and others were present during the event.
