On the 15th of June, the Chief Justice of India (CJI) N.V. Ramana and his wife visited the famous Yadadri temple in Hyderabad, Telangana.

After taking the oath of the office as the Chief Justice of India, this is the first time CJI N.V. Ramana made a maiden visit to Hyderabad, Telangana. On the third day of their stay at Raj Bhavan, Hyderabad, Mr. Ramana and Mrs. Ramana received a grand welcome from the Telangana Government. The State Government led by the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) also made arrangements for their visit to the Yadadri Sri Lakshminarasimha shrine.

At the temple, the TRS ministers Indrakaran Reddy and Jagadish Reddy gave a warm welcome to the CJI and his wife. After the Yadadri Temple darshan, they had breakfast at the VVIP Guest House.

Initially the Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and the Telangana Governor Tamilsai Soundararajan were also scheduled to visit the temple with the CJI. However, due to some unavoidable reasons, they had to cancel their tour at the Yadadri Temple.

With this, the three day maiden tour of CJI N.V. Ramana ended today, the 15th of June. He is likely to be back to Delhi by the evening of the 15th of June.
