Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (AP,) was re elected as the President of the Telugu Desam Legislature Party (TDLP.)

On the 29th of May, the TDLP members conducted a meeting at Undavalli, Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh (AP.)

All the members of the Party unanimously decided to elect Naidu, the President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) as the leader again.

During the meeting, the members also suggested Naidu not to attend the oath taking ceremony of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the President of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP.) The Party members advised Naidu to instead send a delegation to Jagan’s residence to congratulate him for his new post as the Chief Minister.

Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, on the 28th of May, called Naidu and invited him to attend his oath taking ceremony as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, on the 30th of May.

Jagan also invited K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to attend the event.

Jagan Mohan Reddy will be sworn in as the Chief Minister in the presence of E.S.L Narasimhan, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh, at the Indira Gandhi Stadium, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.

The oath taking ceremony will begin at 12:23 P.M., on the 30th of May.
