On the 9th of August, Tuesday, a Central team would land in Visakhapatnam to start their three days tour to the flood-affected regions of Andhra Pradesh.  

According to sources, the teams led by Indian Government officials would tour to look into the damages in the Godavari flood-affected areas.  Mr. Ravinesh Kumar, the Economic Adviser to the Union Ministry of Home Affairs would be leading the six members’ Central team.  The members would be divided into two teams to reassess the losses in the flood-hit areas of the Godavari region in the Telugu State.  The team led by Mr. Ravinesh Kumar includes Dr. K. Manoharan, Mr. Shravan Kumar Singh, Mr. P. Devender Rao, Mr. M. Murugunathan, and Mr. Arvind Kumar Soni.

Getting into the details, the team would reach Visakhapatnam from Delhi on Tuesday afternoon.  After reaching Visakhapatnam, the team would meet the concerned officials of the Andhra Pradesh Government and collect the details regarding the flood conditions and damages.

Furthermore, the Central team would tour Alluri Sitaramaraju, BR Ambedkar Konaseema, and Eluru districts on the 10th and 11th of August.  Later, both teams would reach Vijayawada together and meet with Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
