Hyderabad: British High Commissioner to India Alex Ellis called chief minister A Revanth Reddy at Dr. BR Ambedkar secretariat on Wednesday. Revanth Reddy explained the details of his recent London tour and explained his vision to develop the riverfront at Musi river.

Revanth Reddy explained his vision to transform the Musi river which is recenbling an open drains with sewage wastes directly flowing into it. Revanth explained Alex that he was inspired by the riverfront development at Thames river and the priority given for protecting the waterbody.

Revanth Reddy hoped that riverfront development at Musi River whill help improve the tourism sector which helps to increase the revenue and generate employment at large scale. 

Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, chief secretary Santha Kumari and other attended the meeting.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh deputy high commissioner Shelly Salehin also met chief minister on Wednesday.
