Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar, the President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Telangana, cleared that they are not planning any alliance in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar dismissed the rumors that the BJP would form an alliance with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

The rumors came after recent meeting of Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu, the National President of the TDP, with Mr. Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister.  Furthermore, there is a campaign going on that the two parties would go ahead together in the upcoming elections in the two Telugu states.

However, rumors were clarified after comments of Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar.  He questioned, “It would be wrong if former AP CM Chandrababu meets Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP national president JP Nadda.”  Furthermore, he dismissed the news that BJP is ready to tie up with TDP as speculation.

He reminded that Prime Minister Modi and Amit Shah had met opposition leaders like Mamata Banerjee, Mr. M.K. Stalin and Nitish Kumar in the past for the development of the country and states.  Therefore, there is no specific alliance reason behind the recent meeting of Mr. Amit Shah and Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu.

Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar said that BJP’s graph is increasing in Telangana and the citizens of Telangana are tired of the K. Chandrashekar Rao led Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and would vote for the BJP.
