Amaravati: Former energy minister Balineni Srinivas Reddy is allegedly unhappy over the YSRCP’s decision not to give the Ongole MP ticket to Magunta Srinivasa Reddy. Balineni left for Hyderabad and asked CMO authorities not to contact him any more.

Balineni Srinivasa Reddy is demanding the party high command to give the Ongole MP ticket to Magunta Srinivas Reddy. If the high command doesn’t wish to give a ticket to Maganti, Balineni requested the high command to consider the candidature of his son.

Sources said that Balineni waited for almost two days at Vijayawada to meet the CM. On Tuesday authorities informed Balineni that the party is eyeing to give a ticket to Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy.

Unhappy over the party’s decision, Balineni left for Hyderabad. Sources said that Balineni’s followers are urging him to resign from YSRCP and join a party which respects him. Balineni is likely to take a key decision very shortly after conducting a meeting with his followers.
