Twenty five passengers were left injured in a bus accident on the 22nd of November in Kakinada region of East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh (AP.)

The incident took place when an Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) bus with 35 passengers collided with a lorry at Achampet junction, Kakinada.

The APSRTC bus, travelling from Rajole to Visakhapatnam, collided with the lorry and turned over, injuring 25 people.

The Andhra Pradesh Police rushed to the accident spot and started a rescue operation.  The victims were rushed to a Kakinada government hospital and are undergoing treatment.  Out of the 25, 3 are said to be in critical condition.

The AP Police filed a case and launched an investigation for the same.
