The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP,) the ruling Government of Andhra Pradesh (AP,) is set to demolish all the illegally constructed buildings in the State.

After the recent demolition of the Praja Vedika building of N. Chandrababu Naidu, the former Chief Minister of AP, the YSRCP targeted the private residence of Mr. Naidu.

Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, ordered the AP Government to initiate the process to demolish the Lingamneni guest house, where Naidu lives with his family.

The YSRCP Government took the decision to demolish all the illegal constructions to establish a corruption free State and a transparent Government in AP.

Vijayasai Reddy, the National General Secretary of the YSRCP, said, “The private residence where Naidu is staying is also illegal and Naidu should vacate the place immediately. If a property has been identified as illegal and if it’s constructed on the river bed, the only option left is to demolish.”

The AP Government cannot pass a direct order to demolish the residence of Naidu as it is a private property with a pending case.

The Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) of Andhra Pradesh served a notice to Naidu to vacate the house for demolition.

According to a few Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders, Naidu is looking for properties on the outskirts of Vijayawada to construct his permanent residence.
