The Andhra Pradesh University is all set to conduct the Andhra Pradesh State Eligibility Test (APSET) 2019.

P.V.G.D. Prasad Reddy, the Vice Chancellor of Andhra University, announced APSET 2019 and said the UGC granted the permission to conduct APSET for 30 subjects.  The question papers for the candidates would be in Telugu and English.

Approximately 30,040 candidates are appearing for the exam in Andhra Pradesh.

Students appearing for Paper I would have subjects like Commerce, Economics, Education, History, Political Science, Public Administration and Sociology, which would be in Telugu and English.  On the other hand, the question paper for the candidates appearing for Paper II would only be in English.

The centres where the exam would be conducted are Visakhapatnam, Rajamahendravaram, Guntur, Nellore, Anantapur, Tirupati, Kadapa and Kurnool.  A relief to the candidates is there would be no negative marking in the exam.

Candidates would be provided with carbonless OMR sheets, with the personal data of the candidates printed during the exam.

APSET 2019 will begin at 9:30 A.M., on the 20th of October.
