PCC president, launched scathing criticism against the YSRCP government, alleging its failure to deliver basic infrastructure like roads in Chintalapudi. Speaking at an election campaign in Eluru district’s Chintalapudi, Sharmila questioned the government’s commitment to projects initiated by YS Rajasekhar Reddy, emphasizing the incomplete Chintalapudi upliftment project after five years under Jagan’s rule.

Highlighting party defections due to alleged neglect by Jagan, Sharmila challenged the government’s unfulfilled promises, including the establishment of a price stabilization fund and crop loss compensation fund. She accused Jagan of neglecting YS’s initiatives and failing to implement promised measures, including job calendars and a promised mega DSC for unemployed youth.

Sharmila lambasted the government’s inaction over five years, criticizing the absence of job notifications despite promises and accusing Jagan of misleading the unemployed. She also decried rampant issues like liquor, sand, and mining activities without tangible progress on building a capital city.

The remarks by Sharmila underscore the growing discontent and skepticism surrounding the YSRCP government’s developmental claims ahead of upcoming elections.
