The Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister Mr. Buggana Rajendranath Reddy, on the 11th of March, Friday, announced the 2022-2023 State Budget.

During the ongoing Andhra Pradesh Assembly Budget Session, Mr. Buggana Rajendra introduced an Rs. 2.56,256 crore budget.  Of the amount announced, Rs. 2.08 lakh crore is revenue expenditure followed by Rs 47,996 crore for capital expenditure.  In addition, Rs. 17,036 is the estimated revenue deficit, and  Rs. 48,724 crore fiscal deficit. 

The details of the amount allocated to various sectors are given below:

Rs. 18,000 crores for the YSR Pension Kanuka.

Rs. 3,900 crores for the Rythu Bharosa Scheme.

Rs. 13,630 crores for the Agriculture sector.

Rs. 20,962 crores for Backward classes development.

Rs. 11,387 crores for the Agriculture Marketing sector.

Rs. 2,014 crores for the Higher Education sector.

Rs. 68,306 crores for the financial services sector.

Rs. 1,568 crores for Animal Husbandry and Dairy.

Rs.17,109 crores for rural development.

Rs. 10,281 crores for the electricity sector.

Rs. 27,706 crores for the Secondary Education sector.

Rs. 685 crores for Tourism and forestry.

Rs. 685 crores for Science and Technology.

Rs. 3,719 crores for civil supplies services.

Rs. 11,482 crores for the irrigation sector.

Rs. 4,791.69 crores for the Housing Department towards Pedalandariki Illu scheme.

Rs. 8,796.33 crores for the Municipal and Urban Development Department.

Rs. 290.31 crores for the Youth Advancement, Tourism, and Culture.
