Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) Health Ministry, on the 4th of March, in a press release stated no new positive cases of the Novel Coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, were reported in the State.

On the 4th of March, after the Central Government announced 29 positive cases, Alla Nani, the Health Minister of A.P., said the State suspected 281 positive cases so far, but none of those tested are yet to be confirmed as positive.

Out of 281 suspected people, 65 are taking medical surveillance in A.P., two are taking medical treatment at isolated wards in state hospitals.

Many isolated wards were set up in Eluru hospitals, Visakhapatnam Chest Hospital, G.G.H. Kakinada Hospital and G.G.H. Vijayawada Hospital.

In addition, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government arranged quick teams for any kind of medical emergencies related to the Novel Coronavirus.  The YSRCP also arranged N 95 masks, personal safety kits, triple layered masks and other medicines.

The deadly virus has killed approximately 3,000 people across the World and infected more than 88,000 people.
