The Andhra Pradesh High Court, on the 11th of March, Friday has given green signal for the plots for the poor in Visakhapatnam, A.P.

It is to be noted, the Andhra Pradesh Government led by the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) decided to allot 6,000 acres of land to the 1.85 lakh beneficiaries in Visakhapatnam.  However, a few petitions were filed against the decision of the Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy led YSRCP Government.  Due to the matter pending in the HC, the State Government haulted the announced welfare scheme. According to sources, the A.P. Government has undertaken land pooling of a total of 6,116.50 acres of land in Visakhapatnam district to benefit poor under the Jagananna Housing Scheme.

However, now, the Andhra Pradesh High Court bench dismissed all the petitions and gave green signal to the allotment.

With the High Court latest verdict on the issue, the beneficiaries have been expressing their happiness and likely to pour milk to YS Jagan’s cutout in the evening.

Meanwhile, the YSRCP Government has already issued tokens for the allotment of lands and marked the boundaries.

The Government of Andhra Pradesh is likely to intensify the process of allotment of lands to the poor.
