Mr. Biswabhushan Harichandan, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh, visited the Srisailam Temple, on the 20th of February, Monday.

Mr. Biswabhushan Harichandan along with his wife visited the famous Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjunaswamy for darshan.  He arrived at the temple’s Rajagopuram for darshan and was welcomed by the priest of the temple.

Later, the Governor couple visited the deity and performed a special pooja. After the darshan, the priests and Vedic scholars gave blessings and theertha prasadam to the governor in the Ammavari Ashirvachan Mandapam. 

Meanwhile, in view of the Andhra Pradesh Governor’s visit, the regional police made an elaborate security arrangements and issued traffic advisories for the people in the area.
