Andhra Pradesh Governor Bishwa Bhusan Harichandan and Tamilisai Soundararajan, the Governor of Telangana hoisted National flag and celebrated 71st Republic Day.
Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh was also present during the event celebrated in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh (A.P.)
Meanwhile, K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, was present during the event celebrated in Telangana.
Telangana Police and Andhra Pradesh Police deployed police personnel to avert any incident during the celebrations.
High security were arranged for the people and VIPs present during the event.
The event concluded with the speech of Governor’s of both the States in their respective event location.
