The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP,) on the 17th of August, served a notice to N. Chandrababu Naidu, the President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) to vacate his house.

In the notice, the State Government asked Naidu to vacate his house situated on the banks of the Krishna river in Undavalli village, Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh.

The YSRCP Government said Chandrababu Naidu should take this step as a precautionary measure.  The Revenue Officer of Undavalli said the floodwater is rising every hour in the Prakasam barrage.  The people residing in the area, including Naidu, are in danger, due to which, they need to vacate the area immediately.

On the 16th of August, two men allegedly flew a drone over the residence of Naidu to monitor the water flow in his house.  Later, it was revealed it was on the orders of Anil Kumar Yadav, the Irrigation Minister of Andhra Pradesh, the men were flying the drone.

However, the incident turned into a political one after the TDP leaders deemed it a conspiracy of the opposition, against Chandrababu Naidu and TDP leaders.

The matter was soon resolved when Anil Kumar Yadav addressed the media and spoke about the incident and clarified the reason as to why it took place.
