The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP)  announced an increase to the social security pension.

Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, on the 16th of December, Wednesday, announced to increase the security pension from Rs. 2,250 to Rs. 2,500 per month.  The new pension would be in effect from the 1st of January 2022.

During a Spandana review meeting with District Collectors and Superintendents of Police (SPs) the State Chief Minister took the decision to increase the pension. The Government also announced to launch the EBC Nestham Scheme, providing Rs. 45,000 aid to poor women in the age group of 45-60 years hailing from upper castes in installments for the next three years. The scheme would be launched on the 9th of January 2022.

In addition, the YSRCP Government would also extend financial aid to the Rythu Bharosa Scheme beneficiaries in January. 

Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would also launch another trench of the Jagananna Sampoorna Gruha Hakku Scheme on the 21st of December.   In addition, eligible poor/underprivileged people who have been left out from various government schemes, would also get eligible benefits on the 28th of December.
