In order to maintain decorum and manage crowds, the vaccination process has been halted for two days in Andhra Pradesh. 

The Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination centre would remain closed for the 10th and the 11th of May. In regard to this, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government issued a notice. The Government Order (GO) issued the notification to control congestion, crowd and other violations of social distancing at vaccination centres in A.P.

In addition, the Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy led YSRCP Government has warned of strict action against authorities, if people were found gathering near the vaccination centers.

Meanwhile, it was ordered that the ASHA workers would deliver the slips to the people about the information on vaccination.

The State Government also decided to halt providing first vaccination doses in order to complete administering the second doses to eligible people.

Meanwhile, in the past 24 hours, A.P., reported more than 20,000 (22, 164) new Coronavirus cases. With this, the total tally of COVID-19 cases stands at 12,87,603 positive cases, of which 1,90,632 are active cases and 8,707 are deceased.
