AP Farmers To Get Water For Kharif Crops From June 15th

From the 15th of June, farmers would get water for irrigation purposes and cultivation of the Kharif crops in Andhra Pradesh.

On the 28th of May, Anil Kumar Yadav, the Water Resources Minister of A.P., said, the water would be released from the Godavari delta for the farmers in A.P.

During a press meet, the Water Resources Minister said the decision to do so was taken by Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of A.P. Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy said the water would be distributed without disrupting the Polavaram project works.

In regard to this, Anil Kumar Yadav conducted a virtual meeting on the 27th of May. The Deputy CM of A.P., Dharmana Krishnadas, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) ministers Kursala Kannababu, Venugopala Krishna, the Members of Parliament (MPs) Chinta Anuradha, Margani Bharat and the Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) and collectors of two Godavari districts attended the meeting.
