AP COVID-19 Report:  Registers 159 Fresh Cases With 1 Death In 24 Hours

Andhra Pradesh has reported 154 new cases of the Wuhan virus (COVID-19,) taking the total active cases to 2,122

On the 5th of December, Sunday, the Telugu State reported 154 new cases, 4 deaths and 177 recoveries.  The cases were confirmed through a health bulletin released on Sunday evening.

According to the media bulletin, the cases were confirmed after conducting 30,579 sample tests for COVID-19.  With this, the State conducted a total of 3,05,70,020 tests till date.

In addition, of the total 154 new cases, the highest were from Chittoor (30,) Visakhapatnam (20,) followed by West Godavari (18,) Guntur 18 and East Godavari 14.

The lowest cases were reported from Kurnool (1,) Vizianagaram (3,) and Prakasam (3.) 

Of the total 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh, only districts reported new cases in single digits, whereas 8 districts had new cases in double digits.

With this, Andhra Pradesh has 20,73,730 positive cases, of which 20,57,156 are recovered cases, 2,122 are active cases and 14,452 are deceased cases.
