The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would be inspecting ongoing works of the Polavaram Project on the 14th of December.

Mr. Reddy’s visit to Polavaram has assumed importance in the wake of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government announced the project would be completed by December 2021.

The project would provide water to villages for the farming sector.

On the 11th of December, Minister of Agriculture in Andhra Pradesh Buggana Rajendranath Reddy and Anil Kumar Yadav met Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat in Delhi and invited him to visit the Polavaram dam.

Mr. Shekhawat has assured the Andhra Pradesh ministers that he will visit the project within 15 days.
